You could hear a pin drop at the National Press Club when clips from winning entries were playing and as winners accepted their awards. Everyone in the room -- their mentors, colleagues, protégés, families and friends -- was moved by their words and inspired by their work. This video of the event demonstrates that despite the Big Lie and an onslaught of other disinformation and misinformation, some of the best journalists on TV are imperturbably digging for truth, combating deception and defending democracy.
